Common questions
What can I do with Marketplace in AgriSync?
List what you have to sell, or post a wanted ad saying what you need. Buyers make an offer or buy at your asking price, and you can counter, decline or message back. When you agree, you both get each other's contact details and a record of the deal, and you can book a haulier from it. Save a search to get an alert when something new matches. Payment is agreed and settled between you.
What do I need to use it?
A free AgriSync account to sell, make offers or message (browsing needs none). Your full postcode (only the area, like YO61, is shown to others). Photos of what you're selling, if you have them. It is free during early access.
Do I need an account to look?
No. Anyone can browse listings at agrisync.co.uk/marketplace. To make an offer, buy at the asking price, ask a question, watch a listing or sell something, create a free AgriSync account.
What can I sell or ask for?
Grain and combinable crops; hay, straw and forage; livestock; seed and plants; fertiliser, feed and inputs; machinery and equipment; contracting and services; grazing and land to rent; and other farm goods. Anything illegal to sell, and unapproved plant protection products, are not allowed.
Who can see my postcode and phone number?
Nobody, until you agree a deal. Listings show only the postcode area, like YO61, and your business name. When a deal is agreed, the buyer and seller see each other's contact details and postcode.
How do I get paid?
Payment is agreed and settled between the buyer and the seller, the way you would normally. AgriSync does not take payment.
How long does a listing last?
30 days, and you can renew it. An offer lapses if it gets no reply within 3 days.
Is it in the phone app?
Yes. The Android app has the marketplace too. On an iPhone, use the web app in your browser at app.agrisync.co.uk.
