Carbon estimates and load certificates

For farms asked by buyers or schemes for carbon figures.

How it works

In the web app and the phone app.

  1. Add what you used

Fuel, electricity, fertiliser, lime and harvests. Field records fill some in.

  2. See the estimate

A carbon figure per field and year, with the method shown.

  3. Make a load certificate

A certificate PDF for a delivered grain load. Missing data flagged first.

Carbon: estimated emissions for 2026 in tonnes of CO2e, the method and official factors used, soil carbon not measured, and net carbon for each field
Real AgriSync screens, filled in with a demo farm. No real farm data is shown.

Common questions

What can I do with Carbon records in AgriSync?

Record your fuel, electricity, fertiliser, lime and harvests, or let your field records fill them in. AgriSync turns them into carbon estimates for each field and year, using official UK factors (the government's DESNZ 2026 figures and IPCC methods). It can also make a carbon certificate for a load of grain to give your buyer. These are estimates, not carbon credits or offsets.

What do I need to use it?

Your fields in AgriSync. Your fuel, fertiliser and harvest records. It is free during early access.

Are these carbon credits?

No. They are estimates for your own records and for buyers who ask. They are not verified carbon credits or offsets. Don't use them to claim your farm is carbon neutral.

Where do the figures come from?

From official factors: the UK government's 2026 greenhouse gas conversion factors (DESNZ) for fuel and electricity, and IPCC methods for fertiliser, lime and crop residues.

What does a load certificate include?

The estimated carbon from growing the grain, up to the farm gate, per tonne and for the load. It adds the road journey when the distance is known, for example from the haulier's proof of delivery.

Try it on your own farm

We'll phone you and set up your fields with you, or you can start on your own. No card needed.
